We believe in making the highest quality wines and focus on finding quality grapes, utilizing traditional wine making techniques and implementing the oak barrel when appropriate.
WHITE WINES
Itasca - Itasca is a brand new wine to the Chateau. It is a recent University of Minnesota grape release that allows us to make a truly dry white wine out of our local grapes. This wine has soft aromas of ripe pear and floral notes. On the palate it has soft fruit with unique mineral notes of limestone and wet slate. It has an acidic, grippy finish that will allow it to pair with any shellfish, Alfredo, or classic mac and cheese.
Chardonnay - Our Chardonnay is a medium bodied dry wine with minimal oak contact allowing the fruit to shine through. This wine pairs well with grilled chicken, salmon, heavy cream sauce, and soft cheese.

Chateau Blanc - This semi-dry white blend opens with a rich bouquet of vanilla and ripe grapefruit. Enjoy layers of green apple and pomegranate, which finishes with a crisp, refreshing note of tangerine.

Cheesehead White - Our off-dry blend of locally grown grapes opens with aromas of ripe citrus, passion fruit, and floral notes. It finishes with a crisp green apple note. Pairs with white chili, chicken wings, and all of your favorite tailgating foods! No need to be a Green Bay fan to enjoy this summery white!

Wisconsin White - Our La Crescent opens with a beautiful bouquet of floral aromas evolving into layers of tangerine and apricot on the palate. This wine pairs well with Asian food, spicy cuisines, walleye, or on its own on a summer afternoon.

Minnesota White - Our Frontenac Gris is a medium bodied semi-sweet white that has aromas of citrus, pineapple, and tropical notes. Pair this wine with Indian cuisine, grilled chicken or tuna, and Cajun dishes.

Golden Harvest - Our Golden Harvest is a delicious blend of late harvested locally grown white grape varietals with explosive notes of apricot, grapefruit, peaches, and citrus. This sweet white wine pairs with delicate desserts, salty chips, fresh fruit, or as a slushie!

ROSÉ WINES
Chateau Rosé - This blend of Frontenac and La Crescent hits with aromas of crushed cranberries, strawberries, and tart cherries. Pairs well with ham and turkey, making it the perfect bottle for Thanksgiving. Try as a spritzer on a hot summer day too!

Wild River Rosé - This blend of Frontenac and Frontenac Gris has a rich nose of cherry, strawberry, and pink grapefruit with a hint of melon on the finish. Pair this with ham, fresh fruits, or on a sunny day!
RED WINES
Skol Red - This is a jammy bodied red, which opens with big fruit aromas like cranberry and dark cherry. A crowd pleasing wine for your game day gathering that everyone will enjoy! Drink red, bleed purple! Pairs well with buffalo wings, pizza, nachos, and good company.
Wisconsin Red - Our locally grown blend is a complex medium bodied red with aromas of dark cherries, blackberry, and baking spices with hints of vanilla and toasted oak on the finish. Pair this wine with pizza, pastas, grilled salmon, and barbecue.
Thoroughbred Red - This smooth, medium bodied red blend has aromas of dark cherry, plum, and stewed fruit with lingering aromas of black pepper, cloves, and vanilla. This wine pairs well with grilled burgers, brisket, and Italian dishes.

Buckhunter Red - This medium bodied red blend has aromas of dark fruit, tobacco, dried leaves, and forest floor. This wine was aged in French oak barrels for 24 months. The perfect pairing for any venison, duck, or wild game.
Marquessa - Our Reserve Marquette is a complex medium bodied red aged for 18 months in French oak. This wine has aromas of dark cherry, blackberry with hints of clove and baking spices on a smooth finish. Pairs with any Italian cuisine, BBQ and grilled pork or salmon.
Cabernet Sauvignon - Our full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of black cherry, black currants, and spice with hints of cocoa and baking spices. This wine was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. Pair this wine with red meats, brick fired pizzas, and grilled mushrooms.

Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon - Having spent a total of 24 months in French oak, this Cabernet SAuvignon has beautiful aromas of currants, blackberry, dry hay, and baking spices that lead to a smooth and lingering finish.
Marco V Red - This proprietary red blend is a perfect compliment for a Marco V Cigar. With big aromas of dark berry, leather, and spice, you will be sure to enjoy this wine with every draw of your cigar.
Twin Stallion Winemaker's Blend - Our Twin Stallion is a blend of Tannat and Petite Sirah aged to perfection in French oak. This wine exhibits a bold and spicy plum, black cherry, with hints of clove and tobacco with a very long finish. Pairs with any grilled meats.

Scarlet - Scarlet is a blend of Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon which has aromas of dark fruit, black tea, and baking spice with a nice velvety finish. This blend was aged for 36 months or more in French oak barrels. Pairs with grilled meats or robust cheese.
Three Barrel Reserve - Our Three Barrel Reserve is limited to 75 cases of production. This blend of Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon spent 24 months or more in French Oak.
DESSERT WINES
Chateau Rouge - This sweet red wine is a rich, full bodied blend of Marquette and Frontenac grapes, exhibiting flavors of fresh berries, black cherries, and vanilla. Pairs well with dark chocolate, chocolate cake, and sweet desserts.
Jaune d'OR Port - This white wine port is aged in oak casks for three years. It has aromas of caramel, butterscotch, and vanilla with a smooth silky finish that lingers on your palate. Pairs with cheesecake or any lighter dessert.

Marco V Dessert Wine - This ruby style port was created to pair perfectly with the Marco V mild cigars. This port has notes of ripe cherries, plum, and finishes with pepper and candied fruit.
Ruby Port - Our Frontenac port is barrel aged in French and American oak for four or more years and exhibits notes of chocolate covered cherries, mocha, and has a very long finish. Pair with any dark chocolate dessert or a cigar.
15 Year Reserve Port - This delicious, once in a lifetime, 15 year barrel aged Zinfandel Port exhibits vibrant aromatics of fig, date, chocolate, navel orange, leather patina, a hint of white pepper, vanilla, caramel and toffee, and violet. On the palate you will find notes of s'mores leading to a velvety, smooth finish. This is truly a once in a lifetime wine, coming from the last barrel we had from our first Port wine ever. Our winery opened in 2004, and original winemaker Dennis Drummond put this Port in the barrel part in 2006 and part in 2007.
